Er is een goede reden waarom sinds de jaren '70 de iconische witte woofer en het kenmerkende geluid van Yamaha's nearfield-referentiemonitors een echte industriestandaard zijn geworden: hun nauwkeurigheid. In tegenstelling tot studiomonitors met toegevoegde lage of hoge frequenties die in het begin misschien flatteuzer klinken, zijn de luidsprekers uit de HS-serie ontworpen om u de eerlijkste en nauwkeurigste referentie te geven die mogelijk is en bieden ze een ideaal sonisch platform waarop u tijdens het hele mixproces kunt voortbouwen. Door opgedane kennis en expertise te combineren met ultramoderne geluidstechnologieën, heeft Yamaha's luidsprekerontwerpteam elk aspect onderzocht en vervolgens geoptimaliseerd wat ertoe heeft bijgedragen dat deze monitoren tot de meest vertrouwde in de branche behoren. De HS-serie van de tweede generatie voegt ook een nieuw 6,5-inch model toe aan de line-up, waardoor zijn uitzonderlijke nauwkeurigheid aan een nog grotere verscheidenheid aan opname-omgevingen wordt toegevoegd.
