PATTERN 1: Dante and slot inputs and outputs connected one-to-one

This is the simplest of the routing patterns, with the Dante network and slot channels connected one-to-one for direct Dante/Mini-YGDAI conversion. This can be useful for a variety of situations, such as connecting a Dante signal to an AES/EBU digital amplifier, converting a Dante signal to AVIOM format for a personal monitor system, connecting AES/EBU input to a Dante network, and more. Another possibility is to install an MY8-LAKE card to provide Lake processing with Dante input and output.
PATTERN 2: Slot 1 input distributed to Slots 2~4

In addition to Mini-YGDAI card to Dante conversion, this pattern serves as an audio splitter for the Mini-YGDAI cards and can be used for conversion between other formats. For example, if an MY16-AE AES/EBU card is installed in slot 1 and ADAT or EtherSound cards are installed in slots 2 through 4, AES/EBU input can be simultaneously converted to Dante format as well as ADAT and/or EtherSound, up to three different output formats. With this routing pattern input to slots 2 through 4 can also be converted to Dante format.
PATTERN 3: Slot 1 input to slot 2 / slot 3 input to slot 4
![](/nl/files/33370D5A90C9430683DDE5647EB68908_12083_476x198_d69740900ee9ecba197d2927ba03d184.jpg)
This is a 2 x 32* channel version of Pattern 2, above. For example, with an MY16-ES64 EtherSound card in slot 1, an MY16-EX I/O expansion card in slot 3, and MY16-AE AES/EBU cards in slots 2 and 4, it is possible to convert 32* channels of EtherSound input to Dante while simultaneously converting and distributing to AES/EBU output. If two RSio64-D units are used, with MY16-EX cards in slots 1 and 3 and MY16-AE cards in slots 2 and 4 of the second unit, 64* EtherSound channels can be simultaneously converted to Dante and AES/EBU.* At 48/44.1 kHz
PATTERN 4: Slot 1 and 2 mutual / slot 3 and 4 mutual
![](/nl/files/71528CBDBD684789855F2626DAE67A2A_12083_476x198_074bcf1c18d5b14a77660508c2a80f2c.jpg)
This pattern provides bidirectional conversion between slots 1 and 2, and between slots 3 and 4. In this case if an MY16-AT ADAT card is installed in slot 1 and an MY16-AE AES/EBU card is installed in slot 2, for example, it is possible to convert bi-directionally between ADAT and AES/EBU while simultaneously converting from ADAT and AES/EBU to Dante format. Slots 3 and 4 are configured in the same way as slots 1 and 2. An MY8-LAKE card could be installed to provide Lake processing with a choice of input and output formats.
PATTERN 5: Dante inputs 1~16* distributed to all slots
![](/nl/files/85A094278EF5408E99A8128776C39F9D_12083_476x198_213b8d0e3b82e89365f5b9f9937566fd.jpg)
This routing pattern distributes Dante channel 1 through 16* to all four Mini-YGDAI slots. If the same type of card is installed in all four slots the system functions as a simple audio splitter, whereas if different cards are installed it is possible to simultaneously split and convert. The fact that only 16* Dante channels need to be patched can be an advantage too. This routing pattern also converts inputs to the four slots to Dante format.* At 48/44.1 kHz
PATTERN 6: Dante inputs 1~16* to slots 1 and 2 / Dante inputs 17~32* to slots 3 and 4
![](/nl/files/711267F282534ED899DDB177FA263FE1_12083_476x198_43cbf8c0380546502c0d1a3b8c25a89a.jpg)
This routing pattern allows Dante inputs 1 through 32* to be output in two different formats. For example, Dante inputs 1 through 16* could be output in AES/EBU format via slot 1 and in ADAT format via slot 2. At the same time Dante inputs 17 through 32* could be output in AES/EBU format via slot 3 and in ADAT format via slot 4. This routing pattern also converts inputs to the four slots to Dante format.* At 48/44.1 kHz
PATTERN 7: Dante 1~32* and slots 1 and 2 one-to-one / Slots 3 and 4 mutual

This is a combination of Patterns 1 and 4, described above, providing both simple direct conversion as well as mutual connection between slots.* At 48/44.1 kHz
