10-Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit switches for flexible deployment in high-capacity networks
Enhancing backbone networks has become crucial for businesses, concert halls, and other installations due to the rising demand for high-quality video and audio with low latency. By introducing switches that support 10-Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit Ethernet, our new lineup creates an ideal environment for backbone networks requiring high speeds, capacities, and capabilities. These new L3 intelligent switches support systems handling increased media traffic across multiple segments, while our L2 switches are perfect for transmitting single-segment audio and video media. Like our other existing products, this expanded lineup is also supported by Yamaha LAN Monitor and includes a range of features optimized for Dante systems.
One-click Optimization
Selecting the SDVoE profile in the Web GUI will automatically update the switch’s IGMP snooping settings to optimize them for SDVoE.
With one click, ProAV Settings in the Web GUI effortlessly assigns settings to ports for major ProAV profiles like Dante, NDI, and SDVoE, making It easier than ever to use both SDVoE and Dante on the same switch.
Additionally, the ProAV Settings screen in the Web GUI allows you to quickly check multicast settings and operations, for faster and easier troubleshooting in ProAV networks.
Create high-speed, high-capacity networks with 10-gigabit and multi-gigabit speeds
The LAN ports of the SWX2320-16MT and SWX3220-16MT support five speeds (100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10Gbps) and optimize network speed as appropriate to the devices connected. As demand for speed and capacity grows because of rising numbers of wireless devices, greater audiovisual communication traffic, and increasing access to large files, faster LAN switches allow smooth handling of loads that would congest 1 Gbps networks. Networks that already use Cat5e or Cat6 cables can be accelerated to up to 5 Gbps by replacing their GbE switches with these new models. 10 Gbps networks can be created by using Cat6A cables with these models.

Netwerkzichtbaarheid en intelligent beheer (Yamaha LAN Monitor)
Effectief Dante-netwerkbeheer is afhankelijk van een reeks parameters zoals netwerkverkeer, switchstatus en informatie over individuele Dante-apparaten. De gespecialiseerde Yamaha LAN Monitor-toepassing biedt een uitgebreide weergave op één scherm van alle noodzakelijke parameters bij gebruik met switches uit de SWP/SWR/SWX-serie. Wij refereren naar dit type grafisch overzicht als “netwerkzichtbaarheid”. U kunt zelfs een momentopname maken van de normale netwerkstatus en een alarm instellen om u te waarschuwen als één van de parameters verandert, zodat problemen snel en eenvoudig kunnen worden geïdentificeerd en opgelost. De Dante Controller toepassing kan ook met een enkele klik worden gestart vanuit de Yamaha LAN Monitor, waardoor een totale Dante netwerkoplossing op een enkele computer wordt geboden.
Intelligent beveiligingsbeheer
De ingebouwde RADIUS-serverfunctie vult de VLAN-functionaliteit van de SWX2320 serie en SWX3220 serie aan. Door één switch in te stellen als RADIUS-server en er andere switches aan te koppelen, kan onbevoegde netwerktoegang effectief worden geblokkeerd voor een betere beveiliging, zelfs in complexe grootschalige installaties. Apparaatverificatie kan snel en eenvoudig worden ingesteld via een web-gebaseerde GUI.
Support for PTPv2 TC time synchronization of 1 μsec or less
To provide the high-precision time synchronization necessary for synchronized audio and video playback and other applications, IEEE 1588 PTPv2 TC (Transparent Clock) is now supported with 1 Gbps/10 Gbps networks. This feature adds delay time data to PTP messages as they pass through the switches, enabling synchronization precision between devices of 1 μsec or less when real-time performance is required.
Options for Flexible System Design and Installation
A number of options are available for the SWR/SWX series, including rack-mount and wall-mount brackets that facilitate mounting in a variety of locations, and SFP modules that allow long-distance communication for flexible overall system setup and installation. Wat is DANTE?
Dante vervangt dikke, dure analoge of meeraderige bekabeling door LAN-kabels zoals CAT5e en CAT6.
Omdat Dante gebruik maakt van logische routering in plaats van fysieke punt-tot-punt verbindingen, kan het netwerk geconfigureerd worden met behulp van beschikbare poorten met slechts een paar klikken.
Systemen met Dante kunnen ook eenvoudig worden uitgebreid.
Bovendien ondersteunt Dante redundantieconfiguratie, waardoor betrouwbaarheid zelfs in noodsituaties wordt gegarandeerd.
Wat is SDVoE?
SDVoE (Software Defined Video over Ethernet) is een internationale standaard voor de professionele audio-/videomarkt (ProAV) die 4K high-definition video en audio over 10 Gigabit communicatie kan verzenden.
Door SDVoE encoders/decoders en controllers te combineren met een 10 Gigabit switch, kunnen videowalls en multi-view systemen worden geconfigureerd.
Dit biedt flexibele ondersteuning voor implementaties van digitale bewegwijzering in uiteenlopende faciliteiten, waaronder luchthavens, scholen, e-sportfaciliteiten en bedrijven.
Wat is NDI-gecertificeerd?
Deze nieuwe Yamaha SWR- en SWX-series switches zijn één van de eerste hardwareproducten wereldwijd die NDI-gecertificeerd zijn in de categorie netwerkswitches.
