Anti Resonantie Technologie Wedge

De Anti Resonantie Technologie (A.R.T.) Wedge is een vijfde voetje in het midden van het apparaat. Dit voetje zorgt ervoor dat trillingen van de voeding, transistors en heatsinks worden gedempt, net als trillingen die mogelijk worden veroorzaakt door het geluid uit de luidsprekers. Dit alles resulteert in een bijzonder dynamische en uiterst nauwkeurige geluidsweergave.

Virtual Speaker Technology

De Virtual Presence Speaker-functie gebruikt CINEMA DSP 3D om met de center en surround speakers hoorbare informatie te creëren op de plaats waar normaal gesproken de aanwezigheidsluidsprekers (voor de hoogte) worden geïnstalleerd. Dit model is tevens voorzien van Virtual Surround Back Speaker-functie. Zelfs zonder surround speakers achteraan krijg je een natuurlijkere surround sound dankzij CINEMA DSP 3D-weergave, het virtuele equivalent van maximaal 9.1-kanaals surround sound, zelfs met een 5.1-speakeropstelling.

Two HDMI Outputs

Since the RX-A780 has two HDMI output terminals, simultaneous connection to the TV and LCD projector is possible. Which means you can use your TV as usual but use the projector for your favourite movies and special programming — easily and without having to change any connections. The built-in HDMI functionality is of the latest specifications, corresponding also to HDR (Dolby Vision Compatible, Hybrid Log-Gamma), 4K / 60p passthrough & 4K upscaling, and so on.

Digitale radio

DAB/DAB+-tuner

DAB staat voor Digital Audio Broadcasting en bestaat in de vorm DAB en de verbeterde variant DAB+. Veel radiostations zenden uit in deze technologie en bieden daardoor een hoge geluidskwaliteit. Andere voordelen: automatische selectie van de beschikbare stations op basis van een handige lijst en een praktisch informatiedisplay waarop je de zendernaam en het muziekgenre kunt zien.

De nieuwste grafische gebruikersinterface van Yamaha heeft een hoge resolutie en bevat duidelijke, gebruiksvriendelijke menu’s. De verwisselbare statusbalk laat zien welke ingang en DSP-modus je gebruikt en wat het volume en de audio-indeling is. Je kunt voor de interface kiezen uit acht talen: Engels, Frans, Duits, Spaans, Italiaans, Russisch, Japans en Chinees. Voor de weergave van afbeeldingen kun je kiezen uit normale weergave en 3D-weergave.
