About Account Registration

Why should I register an account?

Yamaha may use the information you provide when you register with us to gain a better understanding of our customers’ tastes and requirements and thereby develop better products and services. To those customers who give their prior consent, Yamaha may send questionnaires and product information via email news in areas of interest to them. Yamaha plans to gradually expand services that may be of use to customers who register accounts with Yamaha.

Q1-1. Is it possible for a minor to register an account?

A1-1. In some countries registration by minors will require the consent of parents or other persons responsible for them. When registering, an item will appear asking for the age of the registrant. If you are less than that age, please register only after obtaining the consent of parents, etc.

Q1-2. My country of residence is not listed.

A1-2. The Yamaha Music Europe GmbH ‘My Page’ allows customers to register from all European countries. If you reside outside of Europe, please visit our Global website for your location and registration options available.

Q1-3. As I registered the wrong email address, I did not receive a confirmation of my registration.

A1-3. Please enter the correct email address and register your account again.

Q1-4. I have forgotten my password.

A1-4. Select the “Reset Your Password” link on the Sign-In or Register drop down screen from our website. You can then input your registered email address and confirm using the “Reset Password” button. An email will be sent to your email address allowing a new password to be chosen.

Q1-5. I cannot sign in.

A1-5. Please check that you are using the correct credentials that were used when registering for your ‘My Page’ account. Please also check that your Caps Lock and Num Lock are not enabled. If you are sure that your email address is correct, please reset your password using the procedure above (Q1-4).

Q1-6. Where can I change my email address, password, name, and/or other registered information?

A1-6.After signing in, change your registered information by accessing “My Details,” “Email Address,” and/or “Change Password.” When changing your email address, a confirmation email will be sent to your new email address. Complete the change in registration by accessing the link that is sent to you.

Q1-7. When changing my email address, I have entered an incorrect email address.

A1-7. If you are still signed into your ‘My Page’ account, you can change your email address under the “Update Email Address” button. If you have already signed out of your ‘My Page’ account and cannot now sign back in as you cannot remember the updated email address, please contact our support team for help. Please contact us using our Enquiry form and include the following information:

If you are signed out, after applying for the change in your email address, please input the following information on the inquiry form:

・The original email address used before applying for a change

・The new email address you think you have updated your account too.

・The original registered name before applying for a change

・The original date of birth that was registered before applying for a change

Q1-8. What should I do, if I move to another country?

A1-8. A1-8 You can update your new European Country of residence within the “My Details” section of your ‘My Page’ account. If you have moved outside of European area, we would suggest that you cancel your ‘My Page’ membership and re-register your products at your new location via our Global website.

Q2-1. I am not receiving your email news.

A2-1. Please Check the following points. Fist, check that you have ticked the box to receive Yamaha Music Europe GmbH newsletters from within your ‘My Page’ Newsletter page and you have confirmed your original ‘opt-In’ Email. If you are not sure, re-select the tick box to receive Newsletters within your account and a new Opt-In email will be sent.

Please confirm that your registered email address was not provided by a disposable or temporary email address service.

If you have registered your account with such an email address, please change it to a permanent email address. You can see how to change your email address at Q&A1-6.

You should also check whether our emails have been blocked by settings to reject emails from specified domains or routed to your Spam or Junk folders.

If our emails are being blocked as a specified domain, please delete it from the blocked domain list on your device. You can learn how to delete a blocked domain by visiting your email application support page.

Q3-1. I used to have an account at Yamaha Music Members Europe website, do I have to register for a new account again?

A3-1. All account information from the Yamaha Music Members Europe has been carried over to the new Yamaha ‘My Page’.

Q4-1. Do I need to register so that I can download my Keyboard Song Book?

A4-1. Keyboard Song Books that previously required a product registration (with a PRODUCT ID) are now freely available on our Yamaha Music Europe GmbH website. You can find these downloads on the relevant product pages on our website

Q5-1. I would like to cancel my account.

A5-1. After signing in, access ”Cancel Membership” and complete the procedures there. When your account is cancelled, distribution of the email news you are subscribing to and the provision of services selected will stop. The registered product information will be also deleted. Please keep in mind that once you have cancelled your account, you cannot recover the information you have registered.
