Yamaha Expands Global Artist Services Network with New Piano Artist Centre in Paris

Yamaha Music Europe GmbH is proud to announce the upcoming opening of its new piano artist centre in Paris – Yamaha Artist Services Europe Paris, marking a significant expansion of the company’s global commitment to supporting the world’s most renowned pianists. Officially opening in January 2026, the facility will serve as the European headquarters of Yamaha Artist Services for piano, joining established centres in Tokyo and New York.

Strategically located on the Rive Gauche, close to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River, the new artist centre will be a vibrant hub for Yamaha Artists, international concert pianists, competition participants, piano professors, and institutions. Fostering close and collaborative relationships with the piano community, the new centre reflects Yamaha’s unwavering commitment to artistic excellence – offering unrivalled technical service, cutting-edge technology, and the finest handcrafted instruments.

The facility will feature a versatile performance space with seating for up to 100 guests, equipped for concerts, masterclasses, recordings, and private events. It will also include multiple studios, providing the ideal environment for pianists to practice, rehearse and prepare for their performances.

Artists will have access to Yamaha’s full range of Premium Pianos – including the exquisitely hand-crafted CF Series, incorporating the flagship CFX Concert Grand, and the exceptional SX Series. In addition, the Disklavier CFX, blending artistry and advanced technology, will enable international remote masterclasses, high-definition recordings, and tailored services such as audition trial sessions and recording support.

“As a vital addition to our global artist network, the Paris facility will ensure seamless support for pianists wherever they are performing,” said Hinderik Leeuwe, director, Piano Division, Yamaha Music Europe. “It strengthens our dedication to the artistic community in Europe and celebrates the shared pursuit of musical excellence.”

A cornerstone of Yamaha’s long-standing artist services mission, the new centre will continue a long legacy of collaboration with the world’s most celebrated musicians. It will also serve as a platform for cultural exchange, education, and artistic innovation – bringing together artists, institutions, and audiences in one of the world’s most musically rich cities.

“This centre embodies Yamaha’s passion for artists, music and innovation,” said Loïc Lafontaine, manager of Yamaha Artist Services Europe. “We are creating a space where pianists can connect, create, and be supported in every aspect of their artistic journey. Our goal is not just to provide outstanding instruments and technical support, but to nurture long-term relationships that empower artists to reach their full potential.”

Ahead of the official opening, Yamaha will host a series of exclusive preview concerts, beginning in September 2025.

Renowned pianist Alexandre Tharaud added: “Yamaha has always been close to artists and understands their technical, artistic, and personal needs. The Yamaha CFX piano has been with me for many years, both on stage and in the studio, and is part of my future projects. I can't wait for the yamaha center in Paris to open its doors. A place offering exceptional facilities and the opportunity to meet other musicians in a space entirely dedicated to music. A true ‘musicians’ haven’ which we need so much!”

Distinguished pianist and jury member for the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in 2025 Akiko Ebi commented: “Congratulations on the opening of the Yamaha Artist Services Europe Paris! Having cherished memories of practising at yamaha artist centres and encountering legendary pianists like Martha Argerich and Sviatoslav Richter, I know just how inspiring such spaces can be.I can't wait to discover this new location, which will be a source of information and inspiration for artists and students. I'm convinced that the new facility will become an essential meeting point for all musical artists!”
