Guitar Encounters — a chance to learn the electric guitar for aspiring rock guitarists

Guitar Encounters is a unique electric guitar program based on the principle of "practice before theory." Children, teenagers and adults learn the technique of playing the electric guitar and at the same time the theoretical basics by playing songs and doing exercises.

In our electric guitar lessons, beginners and advanced players learn a large repertoire of well-known rock and pop songs on the electric guitar in a group, as well as important basics of playing technique, sight-reading, arrangements, improvisation and aural training.

The concept developed by the Yamaha Music School stands out for its simplicity and motivates students from the very first lesson. Great and well-known songs with arrangements, current hits and milestones of rock and pop music make you want to play and practice together.

The evidence-based teaching material from Guitar Encounters consists of seven books including high-quality produced playbacks, which are available to download. The program is developed by music professionals and provides a solid foundation for training as a professional guitarist.
