Biografie
Even in the early days his souly and funky roots brought him to Bands like Soulkitchen, Up Date (New York) Pete York Allstars and DJ Tom Novy. In 2003 Thorsten won the "Pop Professionals" category in the "Yamaha European Saxcontest". Since 2004 Thorsten Skringer acts as an "Official Yamaha Artist". In the same year he introduced his methodbook "Saxclinics". Also in 2004 he released his first solo album "Skringer & Friends LIVE" featuring Tom Politzer (Tower of Power) and Karl Frierson (Dephazz). Thorsten Skringer is also a "Yamaha Performing Artist”.
